Now that I've sat down to write this it seems entirely redundant to even include an about section for Pop Culture Tragedy. The comic is, after all, all the aboutness one could hope for. The characters play themselves, albeit in a slightly degraded three-color, two-dimensional form. Though certain stylistic liberties are taken to ensure the end result fits appropriately within the constraints of the panels, the events, conversations, and people are utterly real.

This last point is worth reiterating because we, the players, are nothing particularly special. The strange, random, humorous moments that make us comic fodder exist in everyone; it just takes the small matter of noticing. The three-color format was chosen to remove the higher-dimensional distractions that plague everyday life and emphasize the entertainment that hides in each and every moment.
