I don't know if trick-or-treaters haunt this apartment complex or not. My usual course of action is to leave after dinner and stay out until past curfew, but I wouldn't want to abandon Dagon, subjecting him to a night of endless slimy children knocking at the door.

No, it's best to lock ourselves in the bathroom and read by candlelight until the youngsters disperse.
