At least the science of neutering has advanced significantly in the past decade. They now use magical, dissolvable stitches, so unless they tear out or an infection sets in, no followup appointment is necessary. The incisions themselves are minimal, too.

Maybe Bob Barker is too conservative in his views. Maybe it would be a good idea to extend spaying/neutering to most humans. I defy you to come up with an argument against it.
