Now I assure you, the fact that this comic debuts so close to St. Patrick's Day is entirely coincidental. Like all comics, it was drawn up weeks in advance.

That said, Dublin really has come into its own in the past few years. It is now a true city of the world. Indeed, Pop Culture Tragedy is something of a hipness meter, and as more people in Dublin, Ireland read the comic than any other city in the world, well, it goes without saying Dublin must be the coolest city in the world.

I'd be there myself if it wasn't for the country-wide smoking ban.

Now, as there's a good chance that if you're reading this you are currently in Dublin, you should take this opportunity to grab a pen and write a letter to the Irish Independent, begging, pleading, threatening them to pick up my comic for syndication. Yes, that's exactly what you should do.
